GRC//Shields!UP//Xr500//Xr700

This is more of a recommendation than a support question. Is there any way we can implement a stealth mode for these routers because I have them both and keep getting this result when I run the GRC ShieldsUP test.

    What FW is currently loaded?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

      Also are you testing GRC with nothing else online and connected to the router? If other devices or users are connected while you test, this will give a false positive. YOu need to test with a wired PC to the router and nothing else connected to the router, Turn OFF wifi and disconnect all LAN devices accept for the 1 test PC. 

       

      Heres results with my XR450

      Two ports found open however I have others using the internet during this test so those ports are open by others:
