Hi Sue, have you reconnected the TV to the XR500 either through ethernet (wired) or WiFi? When the Virgin Hub is in modem mode only one thing (in this case the router) can receive internet from it and everything else must be connected to the XR500. You can take the hub out of modem mode if you'd prefer to have the TV still connected to the hub. Let me know as I have Virgin also so can advise on the best setup with the Hub & XR based on your personal preference.

- Netduma-FraserNov 26, 2020NetDuma PartnerWhatever the yellow cable is in the back of the Virgin Hub needs to be connected to the back of the XR500. I assume you have gone through the XR500 setup wizard is that correct? Is the TV connected via the yellow cable or WiFi?
For lag related issues I'd suggest having a look at our optimal settings guides that will help you get setup, they should be easy to follow: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
You don't need extra speed, they're just trying to upsell you. If you follow the guides that will help eliminate the lag - specifically the QoS guide.- sueeverestNov 26, 2020Aspirant
When i take the yellow ethernet cable out of my HUB and pop it into the yellow port of the XR500 i lose the internet and the flashing white light turns red, Yes I set up the XR500 as per the instructions...the yellow ethernet cable connects from the HUB into the back of the TV box ? still no wifi on the Box and I have the error codes as per my picture!.
WHat a nightmare i'm having here!
- Netduma-FraserNov 26, 2020NetDuma PartnerThe black ethernet cable from the hub going into the XR yellow port is fine, keep that connected like that as you'll need it for internet. The yellow cable plug that into one of the other ports on the XR and that will give you internet on the TV. The hub won't get wifi while it is in modem mode so any WiFi devices connect those to the XR.
