Help!
I just moved into a new house and my isp told me I can’t connect my Net gear router to the modem anymore because it’ll cut off everyone elses internet in the house? Which doesn’t make sense because its the same exact internet (cox fiber) I had before i moved houses. So should i just try and set my net gear up and see if it works and go on about my day or contact them and ask further, i spent $100+ on this nighthawk lol so for them to tell me i cant use it now is weird

What model NG router do you have?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?- That sounds like nonsense to me to be honest, plug it in and see if it works, I can't see a reason it wouldn't unless they've specifically blocked 3rd party routers.
