Don't ping a game server because they're not entirely stable and can vary a lot during peak times. It is best to ping something that is fairly consistent like Google so you can tell when there is an issue or not. The tests do not need to be very long, 10 minutes each would be sufficient.
Packet loss on hops is normal, it's packet loss on the graph which is important, that will show as red vertical bars if there is any. The standard connection is mostly stable other than 3 spikes. The third picture isn't too bad as you've got periods of stability so try some different percentages and see if you can bring those spikes down.
