How do I transfer my IoT devices from a Linksys router to the Netgear XR1000?

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk Gaming Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH gaming router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. ...most of my IoT WiFi LED light, outlet switches etc...works fine after the transfer. Only the Google mini and the Google display lost the network connection. I had to re-enter the same SSID and password.
It was minimum effort. Thank you
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
