How do the various QOS settings limit speed to devices?
Question to all. Manual and web does not seem to answer the following questions clearly. How does share excess on/off work - what is the "excess"? Here is what I interprate I am seeing... and...
Did you disable Share Excess for both download and upload? As there is a button for each. Have you changed Traffic Prioritization at all as that would supersede the Anti-BB/Allocation.
Thanks for response. Learned something new... share excess has two places it needs to be set/unset. Always thought it was universal setting for both uploads and downloads. I suspect this explains what I was seeing. The QOS defaults to UPLOAD view and I set share excess to OFF and I was viewing DOWNLOAD behavior. Menu and manual would do well to highlight this in a better way e.g. Share excess button for both upload and download shows in the menu view.
