How do you register a XR450 – Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router
The support site is not allowing me to register my XR450 router. Not only that, but in order to contact support you are required to register your product so basically I am unable to get support from Netgear. Even in this discussion I was not able to select XR450 as my model because it was not listed as a known model.
If I go to the support page for the product, it says I can use the Nighthawk app to setup my router, however when I open the Nighthawk app on my iPhone it says the router is not supported. I feel like Netgear really dropped the ball on this. Hopefully they are just in the process of adding support for this router to these different places.

- You should just be able to go to http://my.netgear.com/ then either login or create a new account. Then click register a product, input your serial number and then it should be registered.
Thank you for the reply. The registration hasn't worked in the past with this router, but it did today. Hopefully they get the XR450 added to the Nighthawk app as well. In the meantime I will continue to use the Netgear Genie app.
