I get dos
In my log it say dos attack and my Internet goes off I need help as to why it’s happong I have a net gear xr500
The DoS entries are quite normal for Netgear routers, it's unlikely they're specifically causing the problem. How often is the internet disconnecting? Does it reconnect on its own, if so how long does that take? If not do you need to do a reboot or reset to restore it?

Disabling the recording of those entries, along with turning off QoS and traffic metering, has been one suggestion for dealing with troublesome routers.
- michaelkenward Very unlikely, the router would be dealing with those connections anyway so writing it to the log would be minimal additional processing. Unless it's literally flooding the log constantly all the time then there wouldn't in my opinion be any need to turn off those entries.
