I'll never come to this community probably ever again. Probably I should write a letter to netgear about how this admin community works and see if they are happy with this.

- I don't see a modem mode but you could put the XR500 into the DGN DMZ instead. You can see how to do this on page 62 of the manual for the DGN here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/DGN3500/DGN3500_UM_24Sep12.pdf you would take the WAN IP of the XR500 shown in System Information and put it in the DMZ.
