couple things.
Make sure the intel drive is the most current. Intel drivers have had issues lately in my experience. They've pushed out a couple updates lately that have helped with my 9260.
to get the 1733mbps link rate, 160 hrz channel width must be used. This utilize the lower 5ghz channels and the dfs frequencies. Are you able to enable the 160 hrz channel width?
What region do you have selected for your router?

So you've got Smart Connect disabled right? It might be steering you to the lower band.

I will try new DFS frequencies as you've mentioned. I do have HT160 enabled. I think you solved my problem...
The chart in this link below shows 160hz isn't supported past channel 128... I will test the Channels 36-48 later today.

Plus my understanding is the XR500 supports the 160 hrz in continuous configuration not the 80 + 80 configuration.
