IPV6 not working on XR1000

Im also using a CM1000 Netgear modem. Not sure if that what you meant earlier.
Decided to try some troubleshooting.
1. Firmware was lastest version 38. I also tried 36. Both did not work.
2. Rebooted modem, update PC to include windows. On 38 and 36 Did not work.
3. Tried setup wizard on 38 and 36. It also detected DHCP, but still did not work.
Tried Auto config, dhcp and auto detect in firmware 38 and 36. Did not work.
When I look on the IPVS page it is showing DHCP addresses under WAN and LAN. But still does not work.
Fraser was talking about your physical setup: Modem (CM1000) -> XR1000 -> Connected Devices.
The latest version for the XR1000 is 1.0.0.52, I'd suggest upgrading to this and performing a factory reset after the upgrade.

- Thanks for the information so far. Can you take a look at the Device Manager please and see if the Xbox gets a local IPv6 address there?
- That's not going to work. I have the latest and it still doesn't work.
- Mine detected dhcp and a couple of times (oddly enough) it detected 6 4 tunneling. I think it's broken.
- Yes, it's definitely broken. I had the same experience. I'm a developer and I can assure you that this model is broken and they have to deliver a fix. It's really disappointing. I returned mine and reverted back to my xr500. This is a serious defect. You would think that this world be resolved by now. I am now OkYou've at other gaming routers to weigh my options.
And I'm back. Decided to buy another one today thinking it would be good. Guess what. Still no IPv6. Seriously. I dont want to take it back because, well I do not want to. I want it to work. But it dont. :smileyfrustrated:
