I got a Linksys wrt32x and since I have a killer nic in my gaming PC, it is great. It fixed my tv issue too. Its 33% off right now, so saved a $100 too.
Does the TV use a standby/instant on feature? If so disable that then when you turn it on does it get internet immediately?
