Looking for best equipment for use with 1Gb internet from Suddenlink
Hello, I am currently running a Motorola surfboard modem SB6190 and a netgear R8300 router. Looking to upgrade but was wondering if upgrading to the gaming routers were worth it. I have suddenlink 1Gb internet which is the best I can do in my area at the moment.
It depends on your usage.
Some would say that yes they help a lot.
others would say optimize you current setup.
like if you're currently gaming over wireless, you'll see a benefit to hardwiring in your setup.
Or if you're using wireless 2.4ghz, to move to 5ghz.
A lot depends on your current setup, how well its working, and even if you're a hardcore gamer.
