Low speeds high ping ethernet and wifi

Apologies just saw this and i had sent last message in caps on accident my bad. I do a lot of times have congestion control set to auto but say im on ethernet would it be slighty different on speeds. I get high ping in my games which dont understand why even when im getting half speeds cause of the congestion control, i know speeds dont play a huge part into your ping but still.
Ping Heatmap indicates that's the lowest ping to servers that you're able to attain, if you connect directly to your modem what pings do you get to games? That will give you an indication of if it can be lowered any further
