Low WiFi signal

Question

I have the nighthawk ax6 RAX5400 I believe it didn’t show in above options. I have 400gb internet and I’m getting signals of 30-200 from 5 ft away what are some things I can try to increase this

are you testing with smart connect on? Smart connect does band steering and you could be on the lower 2.4ghz band. Which is much slower but broadcasts further.

what modem do you have?

What firmware is on your router?

What speeds do you get hardwired into the router?

what device are you testing the wireless on? a 1x1 antenna solution is going to get a different speed than a 2x2 antenna device.
