I'd suggest first in WAN Settings setting NAT to Open, if it still continues on the QoS page disable QoS entirely in the Congestion Control option menu and see if it works

What are the security implications/risks of setting to open? And would would any security concerns be migitated by the fact that I'm running McAfee?

I've read where these can also be causing some of the issues.
