NAT TYPE MODERATE IN GAMES BO3 - PC WINDOWS 10 PRO

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Built in router here? If so, This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.
Did you use the WAN IP found in System Information for the DMZ? If you use the IP you access the router with then it won't work. It's possible that the port forwarding/triggering rules you made caused that if they were incorrect. Remove all those rules and then in WAN Settings on the XR change NAT from Secure to Open, do you then achieve an Open NAT? Also the Geo-Filter can sometimes causing a NAT misreading so if you're still not getting open after that switch the Geo-Filter to Spectating Mode and see if that works.
the new steps you said to do with dmz i had completed this part then went to wan section set it to opened then set geo to spectate and guess what.
thanks for the help - although i am line to tech team previous person said it was impossible as to router - so hung up on them - better support from community lol fixed it my man

- That's great to hear! So it was a misreading then, you can switch it back to Filtering Mode now and if it says it again you know it is actually open. No need to get back to them, they will likely defer back to us (Netduma) if they're not sure on an answer.
