As long as you don't have remote management enabled in Advanced Settings then I wouldn't worry at all. Side note but you should have UPnP enabled if you're not using port forwarding.

What had me worried was the serious drop in speed that I had yesterday when all of this was going on. My Apple TV kept buffering, Xbox was stuttering (even with an okay ping), and when I ran a speed test it was lower than it has ever been.
I'm thinking port forwarding will be what I go with over UPnP.
- Netduma-FraserJun 19, 2019NetDuma PartnerI don't think that would have caused it, could be to do with other factors such as peak time congestion etc. UPnP is easier as all devices require ports so could run into issues if ports aren't forwarded correctly for a device whereas UPnP will take care of it automatically.
