Netgear XR700 Sluggish Performance and Losing WAN
Having a few issues with the router done the same test with a R7000 with Merlin WRT and there are no issues..
Is this expected performance fto 100% cpu from a xr700 downloading a single torren...
On your torrent client could you disable uTp please and redo the test, does it work correctly then?

On my client it I dont have uTp but i do have DHT is that the same??
No DHT is to do with Torrents that don't have a single tracker. I'd probably leave this enabled.
UTP is a uTorrent feature that slows down your torrents so that they don't interrupt your other networking activities.
But for the sake of the test you should disable it so that you get the maximum speeds.
If you don't have UTP then don't worry.

- Would you be able to try with an alternate torrent program such as Bittorrent, disable uTp and see if you have the same experience?
I flashed the firmware via TFTP and since that flash all has been good.
