New Nighthawk has 2 mbps on wifi. ugh!!! cant get support, or they hang up on me
I just bought a Netgear CM500 modem and Nighthawk gaming router XR450 (which is not on the list above which is the cherry on top of this nightmare). My desktop, hard wired into the router works fine....

Sorry to hear you're having this issue and that you've had trouble with support. I would first recommend following our optimal settings guides here: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
If you're still having issues then let us know and we can help out further. I would also suggest that you disable Smart Connect and connect to 2.4 or 5GHz manually. Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channels in your area and then change the WiFi to that as well which will help with WiFi speeds specifically.

So the Black hawk XR450 is not listed there either. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME. your people say you will call me if dosconnected and they never do. You have the number the ticket is 42700855

So the XR450 is a Nighthawk product.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try enabling Smart Connect, Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
What devices are you using to speed test?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

I work for Netduma who created DumaOS - everything other than the hardware and Settings for the router. The guides I provided are for DumaOS as a whole, it will work for your router. I would highly suggest you go through them as it may resolve your issue, as well as my other suggestion.
