Hi Help PLEASE I can not set up my new router to my PlayStation for streaming and gaming keeps lagging

What is your physical setup? How do you have the settings so far? What is your average ping to the game as shown by the Geo-Filter? What are your internet speeds?

Hi I have 2 PlayStation connected through wifi my ping is about 30 to 50 my internet speed is download sits around 80 upload is about 20 I have the xr500 connected to a lan port in my modern my modern connected too an nbn box

- That ping is fine - is that the game ping shown by the Geo-Filter? What is the trouble you're having exactly? What QoS/Geo-Filter settings are you using? You would likely have a better ping if you connect the PS4s via ethernet.
- Hi on the night hawk we only have 3 ps4 running off the router an all the phones are running off my moderm soon as my son starts streaming we all start to lag that Ping was on console not the geo-filter we running call of duty profile settings we used TECH HD on YouTube for a guide too set up due too not knowing what to do we also had my self an son running from the moderm and my partner from the Router an only my partner was lagging

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Built in router here? If so, This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.

- Hey we are based in Australia
- You need to connect all devices to the router otherwise it can't control the devices properly to eliminate lag. Do that first and then your QoS settings should prevent that from happening.
