NIGHTHAWK XR 500 XBOX ONE
Hi Just after getting the Nighthawk XR500 and trying to set it up for all our consoles. PS5 set up fine and is downloaded no problem, Xbox one will connect but not download anything PS4 will not ...
PS5 is wired others wireless, yes all showing up on the device manager, all phones and other devices are connecting no problem echo just wont connect and the xbox one will not download games etc we were able to stream netflix but not download games .
That's interesting, have you made any changes to the Wireless settings on the XR500? Do you have Smart Connect enabled or are the 2.4 and 5GHz networks seperated?
smart connect is enabled,
- Disable Smart Connect and try connecting them manually to 2.4GHz and see if it works please. Do the consoles complete a network settings test successfully?
the xbox does the test fine but does not give a download speed but states connected to xbox live the ps4 will not run the whole network test connection it fails early on I iwll run again and get the exact problem area with it
and we tried with the net gear 5g with the echo device will try with the 2.4 and let you know thanks for help
