If you connect the devices directly to your modem, does the issue continue?
- Perplexx259May 02, 2019AspirantHow do u meen that ?
I cant connect my Smartphone or laptop to the Modem cause there is no wlan... - Netduma-FraserMay 02, 2019NetDuma PartnerConnect both the console and phone to the same wireless and then try please
- Perplexx259May 03, 2019AspirantWow... that Works perfekt...
But how can i handle this with a wired Xbox ... - Netduma-FraserMay 04, 2019NetDuma PartnerOkay so it can work that's great. Now connect the Xbox wired to the XR500 and keep the phone on the same XR500 wifi. Set a static/reserved IP address for both devices in the XR500 LAN Settings. Then reboot the router, does it work then? Also untick Disable IGMP Proxying just in case in WAN Settings.
- Perplexx259May 06, 2019AspirantI set the Reserved ip for the Xbox.
Also for my phone...
Sometimes it work After that, But still it wont work....
May it cause the rip Funktion in the lan Settings ? - FURRYe38May 06, 2019Guru - Experienced User
Use default RIP settings on the XR router. Nothing different as it's not needed in a home setting.
Did you power OFF the xbox before connecting the LAN cable from the XR router to the back of the xbox? You sure your using a good working qualtiy LAN cable? CAT6 is recommended.
- Netduma-FraserMay 06, 2019NetDuma PartnerI know with some things like that for example a smart TV both devices have to be connected to the exact same network e.g. 5GHz wifi not 5 & 2.4GHz so I would assume this is that same scenario but I don't know why they restrict it like that.
