Regarding WiFi, go to Advanced WiFi settings, there are three options, Beamforming, MU-MIMO & HT160 - depending on your devices they may not work well with these. Experiment with them and see if you can get any higher at all.

Okay, at work at the moment but I RDP'd home earlier and disabled beam forming & airtime fairness and I haven't had any complaints from the people at home yet... So I think that's the wifi problem solved.
I've already had a read over that guide before making this thread but I'll have another read once I've finished work and see if there's anything that I missed.
It seems the router is definitely capable of the speeds, but it has a mind of its own almost.
