Nighthawk XR500 better gaming experience?
Dear all, first post and hoping for some advice. Let me say I know very little about this sort of thing. I am an avid FIFA player but suffer with ping issues. I typically achieve 34-40ms in most games I play and looking to improve this. Will the XR500 help with this? I have poor internet 8mbps download. I play wired only (to my sky hub) and have recently taken additional steps of setting a static IP, DMZ and forwarding ports as well using DNS. It's helped but basically hoping the XR500 will help further? Any thoughts really welcomed!

- Where abouts are you located, the UK?
- What ping do you get on Speedtest.net?
- Are you measuring that ping from in game?
- How many devices are connected to the hub at any one time?
- Do you often get buffering on videos/streams etc?
