Sorry to hear about your home situation as well as the issues you're having. Yes there is an ongoing issue which sounds like what you have. Please try these suggestions:
Set a static/reserved IP for the XR in the ISP modem/router
Set static/reserved IPs for your devices in the XR LAN Settings
Do use the WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channels and change to those
Do wired devices disconnect also?

I don't have a traditional modem as it's a fiber connection that goes directly into a powered plug and into my router. All my devices are wireless and as far as I can tell all drop connection for just a split second, but when it comes to gaming (selling point of the router) that's not really acceptable. I'll post results of my wifi anyalyzation. Mine is the one that starts with Corey's
