NordVPN on Nighthawk XR500 router

Can I install the NordVPN client on Nighthawk XR500 router? I read some comments about it. Some say that only 'Hide My Ass' client is supported, others say VPN clients are working poorly. I also heard that in the future the new firmware should make it possible.
I have an Asus router now. On that one I only need to enter my login, password and configuration file (which I can download from the NordVPN site) and it works without any problems. How does that look on the Netgear Nighthawk XR500 router?

    Hi Mike, exactly the same, you'll need to enter the OpenVPN configuration file and you'll be able to use NordVPN with the Hybrid VPN feature.
