Normal speeds after reset but after a day goes slow again
I have a XR500 hooked up with a Arris SB8200 and gig comcast internet. For some reason I would get my speeds perfectly then in a day it goes to 30 MBPS!! I've tested the modem and It gets the spe...
If you do a complete factory reset either from the interface or holding the button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, then go through the setup wizard but then don't change any settings do you still get the speed decreases?
yeah it doesnt matter what settings I choose QoS enabled disabled auto channels whatever
- I mean if you leave everything default, don't touch the interface after a reset does it still happen?
yeah thats actually the current setting im on right now
- I assume when the speeds decrease that if you connect direct to the modem they report full speeds?
