Not getting the expected speeds with xbox one - please help
Hi, so I’ve recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk XR300. I theoretically get 200mb connection from virgin. Testing it this morning on Speedtest with my PC connected wired gets 156mb.
I have a long Ethernet cable (6m) connecting my Xbox One to the router and these are the detailed network stats:
— — WIRED— —
Download speed: 56.90 mbps
Upload Speed: 8.44 mbps
Packet Loss: 0%
MTU: 1480
Latency: 150 ms
— — WIRELESS — —
Download speed: 61.51 mbps
Upload Speed: 11.35 mbps
Packet Loss: 3%
MTU: 1480
Latency: 34 ms
Wireless strength: 100%
I’m a little confused with the wired speed being lower than wireless. I don’t have another long Ethernet cable to try a different lead right now, but what might be the other causes?
Apart from the default setup I've given the xbox priority over other devices, and thats about it. What am I missing?
Any thoughts or tips?

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerConsole speed tests can be inaccurate so I wouldn't pay too much attention to it, if you're getting your expected speeds via a wired PC then all is good. You do not need a lot of bandwidth for gaming and you have plenty for that. Also what do you mean you've given the Xbox priority, are you talking about Bandwidth Allocation or Traffic Prioritization?
