Odd router bug. (Nighthawk XR700)

What is the modem/router that the XR is connecting to? Is it a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?
The modem is a pure modem, no wifi. My modem is a Netgear Nighthawk CM1000.
- Okay that could be why, do you know how often your public IP renews? If you could contact the ISP to extend the lease it would help while NG are looking into the issue.
- I've noticed this exact thing happening over the last two weeks with my Orbi RBR20 with the latest firmware, but it was happening right before I upgraded as well. XBox Live, PSN, my works VPN, etc all showing not connected but I can get to random websites, etc just fine.
Didn't matter if I used Comcast's or Cloudflare's DNS'.
In my case I seem to have to reboot my cable modem and router before I get an actual 100% connection back, as well as reboot my XBox/PS4, etc. on those affected devices.
I have Comcast and today has been the worst day so far (had to reboot 4 times in an hour) hence, came looking to see if anyone else had started a thread (this one).
Something is very wrong here. All the same equipment worked like a champ for years...until 2 weeks ago.
