I've noticed this exact thing happening over the last two weeks with my Orbi RBR20 with the latest firmware, but it was happening right before I upgraded as well. XBox Live, PSN, my works VPN, etc all showing not connected but I can get to random websites, etc just fine.
Didn't matter if I used Comcast's or Cloudflare's DNS'.
In my case I seem to have to reboot my cable modem and router before I get an actual 100% connection back, as well as reboot my XBox/PS4, etc. on those affected devices.
I have Comcast and today has been the worst day so far (had to reboot 4 times in an hour) hence, came looking to see if anyone else had started a thread (this one).
Something is very wrong here. All the same equipment worked like a champ for years...until 2 weeks ago.
My brother also has an Orbi RBR20 system, also on Comcast, same issue, same time period. 20 miles away from me.

- negatedMar 28, 2021GuideFigured it out. Disabling Traffic meter (by way of resetting my device, but solved it on a second identical system by just disabling). Seems non specific to Orbi. Have fun.
- pteroptikonMar 28, 2021TutorYeah like negated said, going into your settings and disabling the traffic meter fixes the issue completely. I did that a few days ago and it’s been running solid ever since. I wanted to give it a few days before I reported back, just in case it was a fluke. But no it’s been working fine now.
So, if anyone stumbles across this, and is having a similar issue to what I described, just disable the traffic meter from your router settings.
