Open VPN max of 20Mmps when using router.
Hi there, If anyone is able to offer some suggestions, when using OpenVPN software on a client machine I get nearly proper speeds 90Mbps, when using the OpenVPN profile on the XR500 the max speed...
- Hi Dan, yes the VPN will be slower when using it through the router. However, due to the Hybrid nature of the VPN you can apply the VPN directly to certain applications/services so that other applications/services on your devices are not behind the VPN and therefore don't get slowed down. So if you're just wanting to VPN a game for example then you can do that with plenty of bandwidth to spare and the rest of the PC can use high bandwidth activities etc.
