OpenVPN on xr500

Hey guys i dont no in a am stupid but im trying to make a VPN Connection to my Homenetwork. I starten by adding a Dinamic DNS with no-IP then i turnd on VPN in the webinterface and Downloaded the certification file on my iPad witch i the added as a Connection then i Switched the Wifi with my iPad an conected via VPN. Ist Said i conected succesfully but i culd only Access my Router Nothing els.thx for the help.

 

 

quick Otter question schuld i See my iPad as online ip i am conected to the VPN in the Webinterface from the Router???? Because i cant

    This is a Netgear feature but I am fairly certain you do not need to connect to a different WiFi network in order to access the home network. If you use an OpenVPN client program on the PC with the files and continue using your normal wifi network then you should be able to access it and have internet at the same time.
