problem XR300 after restore backup
Hi. I had problems with the R-app display on the XR300 so I backed up my settings and did a factory reset.
When I put the backup back in, the system no longer recognized my admin/password.
why?
I can...
the r-app was no longer displayed. I did a factory reset with the same firmware (latest). but when entering my administrator password... the router does not accept it. it worked before. Just before my backup. Today my network works but I can no longer configure it.
Once factory reset did you change the credentials again in the Setup Wizard? If not the default credentials will apply admin / password and then you should be able to login and change
after factory reset I left admin/password as default to enter the configuration. I then did a restore with my .CFG file
From this moment neither admin/password nor my password work whereas before the factory restoration my administration password worked. I imagine it is on the .cfg file- I think you'll have to do a fresh installation then create another saved config for later use, it's possible that config is corrupt
