PS4 hardwired to XR 500

Hi all, new here, quick question, I recently got the Nighthawk Xr 500 gaming router and I am just wondering what the best Ethernet cable I can get to hook up my PS4. Currently the router shows an amber light when sending and receiving data so I’m trying to see that white light instead so that it can get the 1Gbps instead of 100mbps.

    Cat5e or Cat6 should both work fine and be capable of gigabit.

      As above they will absolutely do for the job at hand. Also keep in mind that faster speeds on the console won't improve your gaming experience as gaming uses very little bandwidth. It will of course speed up the downloads of updates/games etc.
