What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

The router is on firmware 1.0.0.64 not sure of the details of the make/model of the ONT as I'm currently out if it's any help I'm with BT again will check those details once home. thanks

You are in safe hands with Netduma-Liam. (Next thing you know someone will ask about your cables.) They know their DumaOS.
Depending on your service, being with BT could mean that you have one of those nasty HomeHubs. These are modems/routers that make it hard to play nicely with third party routers.

More recently, BT has shipped set-top BT TV Box Pro things that you can use alongside a grown up modem.
If it really is an ONT, you should be OK, but it might be worth dropping by the BT community if problems persist.

If this just started happening when you added to your PS Plus subscription, and all worked well before then, that might also be a good place to seek help.
It is easy to assume that the router us the source of all woes, but with so many interacting things the real culprit could be anywhere.
