While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Nighthawk Pro Gaming Routers - NETGEAR Communities
Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Can you go to the XR1000 interface by opening a web browser and going to routerlogin.net.
Here, login and go to Settings -> Setup -> WAN Setup and check that UPnP is enabled and then set the Filtering type to Open.
After that, see if you're able to stream games.

Hi Yousif1 yes I've done that It appears to be related to the Geo filter that's causing the issue. Thanks

Can you zoom all the way out on the Geo-filter map and then when you try to play a game, watch for a 'blocked' icon to appear. When this occurs, please click the icon and manually allow the connection in the panel that appears below the map.
After that, you should be able to play. Of course the alternative would be to temporarily disable filtering mode when you want to play these games.

Morning Liam I will try your suggestion just to see if it works I don't know how the streaming with ps3 games works as the two that I tried the icon appeared in the US (not sure if they are all based there) I'm in the UK & you would think there would be something over here.
Can you just clarify this for me even though I turned off filtering mode when I tried Call of Duty the icons appeared within my radius approx. 1000 miles am I right in thinking that if nothing appeared within that range it would then search outside that but with filtering enabled it will only search within the radius.
I've also got the following settings configured are these ok:
UPNP>Enabled
Filtering Mode>Open
Ref congestion I've set the sliders to 70% & Auto enabled
QOS I've set gaming upload & download to 20
Is there anything else I can tweak to optimize online gaming
I'm connected via ethernet & on full fibre 900 which gives me approx 1000 download 110 upload
Thanks
