R7800 assigned to different subnet
I have set my router to 192.168.1.1 and netmask is 255.255.255.0. I have activated the VPN service as well as Dynamic DNS. All my devices cabled or wifi are assigned to the 192.168.1 network. The router says it is servicing DHCP and DNS at 192.168.1.1. But when I try to connect to the router at 192.168.1.1 there is no answer, however at 192.168.2.1 the router responds and I can logon..... I have the latest Netgear firmware 1.0.2.68. Everything works just fine DNS, DHCP, WIFI,VPN. Can anyone explain why the router is found at 192.168.2.1?
Thanks
It turned out to be my Windows 10 that was the culprit. Once I disabled the Ethernet port it worked as it should, router at 192.168.1.1.
