R7800 my Xbox needs certain UDP ports open and they are not
My Xbox needs to access certain udp ports and it isn't. I have a R7800 router. I'm not sure how to open the ports.
Includes
port 88 UDP
port 3074 Udp and tcp
port 53 udp and tcp
port 80 tcp
port 500 udp
etcetera

Please include ISP modem Mfr and model# and if it has a built in router already. If it does, then a couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.A ISP modem router combo will effect how a external router like the R7800 gets ports setup. AStand alone modems are preferred. You don't need to set up any port configurations on the R7800 with uPnP enabled for XBL with a stand alone modem.
