Cannot connect to most EU community servers in Valve Games
Having issues with connecting to most if not all EU community servers in CS2 and even other games. I am using a XR1000v2 and its firmware is upto date, and strict mode on geo filter is already disabl...
so ive found the solution. recently a online safety act was passed in the uk, which is interfering with the connection of certain ips which can only be bypassed via vpn etc.
The issue doesn't persist if I do this.
What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to? Have you set it to modem/bridge or put the XR in its DMZ if applicable? When did the issue start exactly, after changing a setting etc? Have you factory reset to see if it works after that with mostly default settings?
It is a xr1000v2. The issue is persisting even upon a reset, via the paper clip insertion and firmware updating. I haven't played around with most settings.
The model of the modem/router the XR1000 is connected to for internet. How long did you hold the reset button in for? If you don't hold it for long enough it can just reboot instead of resetting. Try factory resetting from the interface instead. When did the issue start exactly?
I reset it via DumaOS too. I held the reset for around 10 seconds. The modem is an Adtran ONT. The issue started a few days back
