I have factory reset and done a completely fresh setup on my XR1000 router. I am in DumaOS and everything is working like I would expect, except that when I do connection speed tests, sometimes the gateway or test will crash in an odd way and produce a blank red screen, and display this message.
"You are no longer connected to your router. If your router is rebooting then keep this page open as it will automatically reconnect to the router's interface when the reboot is complete. Otherwide please check your connection e.g. you are connected to the correct router."
I do not lose connection to the internet however and everything keeps working normally as far as I can tell, but it is still concerning me.
Unsure whether my original problem is going to happen again yet as I haven't attempted to stream again. But these speed tests causing the router to display this message, as if it is struggling to both grant me access to the DumaOS and process the speed test are concerning me.
Also within the System information Logs tab, it is producing the following unix time error message
"Thursday, Jan 01,1970 00:00:00
Thursday, Jan 01,1970 00:00:00
Thursday, Jan 01,1970 00:00:00
Thursday, Jan 01,1970 00:00:00..."
Over and over and over and over. Is this a known issue and is it something to be concerned about?

The speedtest should disconnect you from the internet but it sounds like it is disconnecting you from the interface while it runs the test which is inconvenient but not necessarily indicative of a problem that would cause other issues. I would just recommend running a speed test on another site and entering the speeds manually into the router as the results aren't always accurate either

What do you mean it should disconnect me from the interface? I have used an XR500 for like 3 years and have never been disconnected from doing a speedtest within the interface. Not only am I being disconnected from the interface with the 'connection benchmark' utility, but if I run a speed test on for example Ookla or Google Speed test the same message is shown to me. Makes me think the XR1000 is struggling to a simple speed test.
Also do you have any info on the "Thursday, Jan 01,1970 00:00:00" message being printed in the logs over and over?- Netduma-FraserFeb 02, 2026NetDuma Partner
By design it will disconnect you from the internet, not the interface when running the test. Interesting, what time does the System Information page show? If it is the same it could be causing the issues, make sure the time zone is correct/adjust for DST if needed and verify it is correct, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if you can reproduce the issue

Well it disconnecting me also causes the 'connection benchmark' utility to fail. I really do not think that is the way it is supposed to work. System Information Page shows the correct time of GMT.
with it also crashing when I do a speed test on Ookla makes me believe the unit cannot handle the processing of the speed test.
