I would highly recommend making a ticket with Netgear as it's one of their features so something we (myself and Liam from Netduma) may not be able to help as much with. Other community members may be better suited here.
What are you using the VPN service for exactly? Was it this guide you used? https://kb.netgear.com/29783/How-do-I-use-VPN-service-on-my-router-with-my-Android-device?article=29783 Did you use TUN or TAP?

Hi Fraser,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
I followed exactly that guide.
In Android you can't use anything but TUN.
TAP is no longer supported by Android.
I'm using VPN service because I need to be connected to my home network while I'm not at home.
I also use hybrid vpn with no issues except for the very poor speed of Openvpn protocol (!)... But, as you know very well, that's for other purposes.
My xr500 is set as router and manage my network but I had a Fritz 7530 before and I regularly used VPN (ipsec) flawlessly.
So...in the end, I haven't been able to connect to my home network from my Android phone.

- Netduma-FraserOct 18, 2022NetDuma PartnerIf you try from a Windows PC do you suffer the same issue or does it appear to be happening just on Android? Do you have any port forwarding rules or DMZ etc set on the XR?
- faldan72Oct 18, 2022AspirantI set a DMZ for my Ps5,
No port forwarding settings.
Excuse the question, but what does it have to do with it?
I 'll try with an ipad this night... Don' t have a windows laptop to test.- Netduma-LiamOct 19, 2022NetDuma Partner
I'd suggest removing the PS5 from the DMZ, that could be causing an issue here as the XR will be trying to forward all traffic to the PS5.
Let us know how you get on with testing.
