Have you tried the very latest beta build? That should be resolved, it will be quicker to show whether a device is offline or not but if it is actually being used it will show online.
I’m not to sure what version of the beta I am using, there was a download link posted by another admin that I am currently using but if you have the latest version download and would share it I will test it out
