ReadyShare
After connecting a USB drive to Nighthawk XR500 router I enter \\readyshare in the Windows Explorer and a password prompt pops up. I enter the username and password that I use to login to DumaOS Router Configuration and it says that the password is wrong. How do I configure my USB drive so that I can access it through my local network?
Firmware version is V2.3.2.114

Have you gone into the controls of the XR500 and set it up for ReadySHARE?
You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message. - Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerAs above, have you enabled password protection in ReadySHARE settings on the router?
