Router and switch connections
I use a XR1000 router and a GS108v4 unmanaged switch, and I'd like to know if I can (without problems) and should (would get speed/routing benefits) connect them using more than one Cat6 Ethernet cab...
I've read about a "packet storm" which is caused by a loop which is exactly what I believe would happen if I connect a router and a unmanaged (dumb) switch together using more than one cable.
Yeah definitely no point in connecting them via multiple cables
