Can the gaming router be used with Viasat satellite internet?

    Maybe? Most devices can be made to work with most providers. You might have to put the satellite setup in passthrough mode or the netgear in access poing mode but most can be made to work. 

    With that said, is it going to improve your speeds and latency? probably not even slightly. Reason why is that the reason latency is so high is because its coming off a satellite. The extra $ for a gaming router might not benefit a whole lot versus a regular router.

      As long as you have a modem/router then you can use it with your internet. Satellite is inherently in terms of ping etc so the router won't work miracles but it will give you the best connection you can possible get given the scenario.
