Should I wait for the next nighthawk the current one doesn't specify if it's Wi-Fi 6 capable

I see that new nighthawk mesh Wi-Fi router that isn't setup for gaming is a Wi-Fi 6 device but the gaming router the xr700 isn't will it be software-enabled or is there a hardware restriction I'm trying to decide on my next router

    It isn't something that can be updated with software, it has to be hardware. Have you got WiFi 6 supported devices that could really take advantage of WiFi 6?
