Slow download speeds on Xbox one x

Gonna try this again or I’m done with this router. When I do an update on the Xbox the speed is horrible, and sometimes drops. I gotta change my dns to googles to get my download speed that’s set in qos 300 down. Setup is a cat 7 directly connected to the router. Qos enabled,70/70 on anti buff, and prioritization enabled. Internet is Verizon’s gig 960/880 Bottom line I wanna keep my settings as is and I want the router to work. It’s something I have to change in the router does anyone know?

    It’s a XR500 and when im directly connected to the internet no problems

      This is probably due to the Xbox causing the Anti-Bufferbloat settings to turn on. Right now we cannot tell the difference between when an Xbox is downloading updates or when it's playing online games. For this reason, you might need to disable anti-bufferbloat until you start gaming.
