Honestly I’m just trying to get the best ping possible. My old router didn’t have these settings as far as qos and geofencing is concerned. So I’m new to all of it. All I know is on my old router I never lagged and was getting typically 400-500 download speed. If there are any other tips and tricks about this router feel free to fill me in. Thanks

If that's your aim then I would recommend it if the scenarios above happen, I'd recommend taking a look at our optimal settings guides here: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
- GUNZZ72Mar 21, 2023AspirantAs far as ping assist is concerned. Let’s say I set it to 90 will it still try to find the best ping possible? Only reason I ask is because sometimes when I’m in queuing a game lobby with 3 friends we struggle to find a lobby for awhile and I know it’s most likely because of my ping assist filter being set to 45

Regardless of router configuration or different router models, I saw many problems with in lobby waiting to get into games with BO5 and COD MW games over the years. This is not always related to your router router settings. These are game problems. BO5 has/had a known problem of if I was in a lobby with friends hosting, that I would get booted back to the lobby as others were just entering into the game. They would have to back out and we would have to all gather up again. We found one work around for some of this, was to clear out the game saved caches, exit the game then restart the game. Then gather up in the lobby and then we could enter into the matched game. Big problem on BO5. Saw similar problems on MW 2022 though not as bad as BO5. Last time I played BO5 was early 2022 and it was still present then. Not sure if anyone fixed it or not for that game. I don't play MW 2022 anymore.
