Slow wifi

I normally run hard wired but my cat7 is messed up so I switched to WiFi for the time being. I have 300mbps but only getting 30 Down and 5 up wirelessly. Is this normal? I’d think closer to 100 WiFi maybe I’m giving wireless too much credit.

    If you're running over 2.4ghz its not a horrible speed because 2.4ghz is much much slower and sensitive to inference. You should be able to get more out of 5ghz though.

      I thought at first I had 5G selected but on this ps4 I only get 2.4. Only the pro has that option. All good anyway. Once I replace my bad cable I’ll be back to hardwired.
